Girls’ Generation’s First Japanese Arena Concert a Sell-Out Success!


Girls’ Generation’s (SNSD) first Japanese arena tour concert has been a sell-out success selling over 300,000 applicant tickets. As a result, SM Entertainment has announced that three more concerts were added to the tour on their official homepage. The tour will take the girls to six cities for a total of ten concerts.

The tour will begin on May 31st and end July 17th; and the six cities include Tokyo, Osaka, Saitama, Hiroshima, Nagoya, and Fukuoka. The entire tour is expecting to generate an estimated attendance figure of 100,000. The sell-out concerts, as well as the addition of three more concerts, are evidences of Girls’ Generation’s explosive popularity in Japan.

The nine girls of Girls’ Generation have already stolen the hearts of Korean and various South East Asian fans with their various talents and charms. They are now turning their attention towards their Japanese fans who will probably remain helpless to their seductive and addictive charms.
